Add some excitement to your boring burger by changing up your cheese choice with Brie or Gouda!

Cheese assortment

Brie

Creamy and decadent, brie will blast that burger to regal heights. A French cheese with a heftier price tag, it’s fun to use for special occasions or whenever you want to make a good impression. The soft creaminess of this cheese melts into the cracks and crevices of the burger to fill each bite with flavor.

Brie is a cow’s milk cheese. It has a mild fruity flavor with a nutty tang that compliments ground beef especially well.  Creamy brie burgers can be topped with all the traditional burger toppings but to keep that fancy feel try topping it with caramelized onions and bacon. Get really swanky and top that brie burger with a grilled pear half.

Gouda

Not many people realize Gouda is one of the world’s most popular cheeses. Known for its mild nutty flavor, it’s a perfect topper for any type of burger. The pungent aroma complements the burger before you ever taste it. It is a fun alternative to American cheese without paying much more.

Gouda originated in the Netherlands and can be made from goat, cow, or sheep milk. Use a smoked Gouda and top that burger with bacon, and BBQ sauce for southern feel, or pile on a spicy corn relish for a distinctively southwestern appeal.
