We decided to cook this in a cast iron skillet on a stove. We thought that kept a lot of the moisture in the meat. The meat was really tender and we thought it had good flavor. The flavor wasn’t extremely strong in my opinion but I would describe it as smooth. The meat was not really chewy and there was rarely any type of gristle or hard substances in the meat that can sometimes occur with ground beef. Loved how they were prepackaged. They were the perfect size and thickness.

Excellent burgers! We really enjoyed them. The meat had a great flavor without tasting overly “meaty” if that makes sense! They also tasted very fresh. I’m not sure how they were while cooking because my husband does the grilling, but they weren’t overly oily when it was time to eat which I also appreciate. Definitely worth trying! I know we will be re-purchasing! Thanks Influenster for allowing me to try these complimentary in exchange for an honest review.

Burger Instructions
  1. Melt butter in a Dutch oven over medium heat. Add flour; cook, whisking constantly, 2 minutes. Gradually add ale and milk, whisking until smooth. Cook, whisking constantly, until mixture is thick and bubbly.
  2. Gradually whisk in cheese and hot sauce until cheese is melted.
  3. Meanwhile, shape Schweid and Sons beef into 6 patties; season lightly with salt and pepper. Cook patties in a large skillet over medium-high heat 5 minutes per side or until no longer pink in centers.
  4. Serve patties on rolls with tomatoes, cheese sauce, and onion rings.
Onion Rings Instructions
  1. Bake or fry onion rings according to package directions.
