Double Bacon Cheeseburgers

We found a way to improve on a classic burger, make it a double! Our Double Bacon Cheeseburger recipe centers around the Schweid & Sons Ground Beef Burger Blend, topped with garlic salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and of course, bacon.

Ingredients
Double Bacon Cheeseburgers
- 10 Schweid & Sons 5.4 oz Beef Burgers
- 1 (16-oz) pkg bacon
- 2 tsp garlic salt
- 1 1/2 tsp pepper
- 3 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 (8-oz) pkg sliced Cheddar cheese
- 10 Hamburger Buns, split and toasted
- Zesty Bacon Spread (recipe follows)
- 10 leaves green leaf lettuce
- 2 tomatoes, thinly sliced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
Zesty Bacon Spread
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled (reserved from Double Bacon Cheeseburgers recipe)
- 2 Tbsp prepared horseradish
- 1 Tbsp Ketchup
- 1 Tbsp whole-grain Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions
Double Bacon Cheeseburgers
- Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp; drain on paper towels. Reserve 6 slices bacon for Zesty Bacon Spread recipe.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Sprinkle patties with garlic salt and pepper. Drizzle Worcestershire on patties.
- Grill patties, covered, 5 to 6 minutes per side or until no longer pink. Top each patty with 1 slice cheese; let stand 1 minute.
- Spread Zesty Bacon Spread recipe on toasted buns. Serve cheeseburgers on buns with lettuce, tomato, bacon, and onion.
Zesty Bacon Spread
- Stir together all ingredients in a bowl. Chill spread up to 3 days. Serve on burgers.
