Continuing the parade of bacon-centric Burgers this week, The Sriracha Apple Bacon Burger makes its way to our Burger-loving hearts. A beautiful confluence of savory and sweet, this bacon-heavy Burger will rejuvenate your Burger life just in time to celebrate International Bacon Day this Saturday.
Chef Wenford Patrick Simpson of B.B. King Blues Club & Grill and Highline Ballroom shared this recipe featuring seasoned bacon, chipotle sauce, onion rings, and bleu cheese so you could add some sizzle to your Bacon Day celebrations.
- 8 oz Schweid & Sons The Katana Burger
- 10 strips Cut Bacon
- 3 oz Chipotle Sauce
- 3 oz Crumbled Bleu Cheese
- 2 oz Micro Mixed Greens
- 1 Large Brioche Bun
- 2 Fresh Onion Rings
- 1 tsp Sriracha Seasoning
- 1 tsp Apple Cinnamon Seasoning
- salt & pepper (to taste)
- 1. Grill burger to your preference - highly recommend medium.
- 2. Cooked bacon with Sriracha Seasoning and Apple Cinnamon Seasoning.
- 3. Construct Burger in this particular order: brioche bun, micro mixed greens, Burger, onion rings, bleu cheese crumbles, chipotle sauce, bacon.
Stay away from the gym for 2 days to recover after you devour this Beast of a Burger.
