How To Make Baconnaise — Recipe
Behind every good Burger is an equally delicious Burger sauce to slather on the bun. And with International Bacon Day around the corner, what better way to celebrate both than with a phenomenal Burger sauce that prominently features our favorite cured meat? Cue Chef Tim Kast from Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar who shared his very special recipe for Baconnaise with us.
This creamy, bacony spread can accompany any sandwich (or even be eaten with a spoon!), but slathering it atop your favorite Burger is definitely the best way to enjoy it.
Ingredients
- 4 strips Thick-cut Applewood Smoked Bacon
- 2 cups Duke's Mayo
- 1 Tbsp Red Wine Vinegar
- 1 Tsp Seasoned Salt
- 1/2 Tsp Cracked Black Pepper
- 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/4 Tsp Cayenne Pepper

Instructions
- 1. Heat large skillet on medium heat and cook bacon crispy on both sides. Allow to cool on paper towel.
- 2. Dice cooled bacon into small peppercorn size pieces.
- 3. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and whisk until thoroughly mixed. Store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
